Story of Plastic, Individual Film Screening and Community Discussion (Online Event)
THE STORY OF PLASTIC takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it. Registered attendees will receive a link to watch the film 2-3 days prior to the discussion, then join the discussion on Monday, November 9th at 7pm to hear from THE STORY OF PLASTIC filmmaker Stiv Wilson, and The Last Plastic Straw founder Jackie Nuñez. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Charles Lester, faculty member at the Middlebury Institute and the University of California at Santa Barbara, and former Executive Director of the California Coastal Commission.
Environmental Justice and Sustainability Speaker Series, Middlebury Inst. of Intl. Studies; hosted by the Center for the Blue Economy.
Free, open to public, registration is required.
