Science Sunday: Brenda Eskenazi on pesticides and children's health

Science Sundays at the Lab returns with Brenda Eskenazi, whose talk is entitled, "Lessons from the Salinas fields: pesticides and children's health." Brenda Eskenazi, PhD, is the Director, Center for Environmental Research and Children's Health (CERCH) at the School of Public Health University of California, Berkeley. Brenda will discuss the Center for the Health Assessment of Mothers and Children of Salinas study which has followed children living in the Salinas Valley for more than 20 years. This study has helped to set international policy on the pesticides used on our fruits and vegetables...and the study took place in our own backyard. Suitable for all ages.
