Red Cross 'Farm to Table Dinner – 2019'
The American Red Cross of the Central Coast will host its 2019 Farm to Table Dinner at Carmel Valley Ranch on Sunday, June 2. The annual event, with a theme this year of “Heroes feeding Heroes,” is an opportunity for local residents to celebrate and support the mission and impact of the Red Cross while enjoying the finest offerings from local farms and wineries in a beautiful outdoor setting.
At the dinner, which is presented by Audi of America and Third Millennium Partners, the local Red Cross chapter will recognize World Central Kitchen as its 2018 Disaster Response Partner.
The festivities will kick off with a tasting reception featuring area wineries, breweries, and distilleries. The Brian Fitzgerald Trio will perform the local group's popular jazz standards during the reception.
Chef Tim Wood of Carmel Valley Ranch, Chef Fabrice Roux of ROUX and Chophouse, and Chef Soerke Peters of Etats-Unis and Mezzaluna will then prepare and serve a unique, multi-course, family-style dinner complete with expertly selected wine pairings. Jennifer Roux, also of ROUX and Chophouse, is serving as the Event Chair.
The evening will culminate in an exciting live auction, with all proceeds benefitting the programs and services that the Red Cross provides in Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties.
