HIV Stakeholder Kick-Off Meeting Getting to Zero, a community approach to ending the HIV epidemic Wednesday, September 25, 2019 9-11 am, Cabrillo College Horticulture Center Supervisor Leopold and Santa Cruz County Chief Medical Officer Dr. Evans invite you to a countywide consortium to achieve the Getting to Zero vision: Zero new HIV infections, Zero AIDS-related deaths, and Zero stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV in our community. During this kickoff meeting, we will: Review local HIV data Become familiar with the state Office of AIDS, Getting to Zero Strategic Plan Identify where your organization fits along the HIV Continuum of Care Identify our community’s strengths and gaps along the HIV Continuum of Care   To prepare for this meeting please review:  Getting to Zero Executive Summary Santa Cruz County STD and HIV Report - 2019 Recommended participants: Clinic and hospital medical directors Clinic and hospital operations directors Representatives from CBOs that serve PLWH, PWID, LGBTQ community, and those with unstable housing Champions with authority to make systems change   Light refreshments and parking permits provided with RSVP.
