3D Sculpture (ages 8-16)
3D Sculpture meets on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 PM at the ARTspace ANNEX on Fifth Street and is taught by local sculptor, Dustin Kinsley. This class is designed for students ages 8 & up. Each month this course will explore the tools, techniques and material used to create three dimensional sculptures from wood, plaster, wax and recycled objects. The curriculum focuses on artistic shape, form and color. Students will learn the difference between objective and non-objective art as they create their own artwork. Materials required: protective gloves and safety glasses (ANSI approved) Materials provided: hand tools, power tools, wood, plaster, wax and clay Your $45 registration fee includes all Tuesday classes during the one month session.
