Reflections on The Great American Eclipse of 2017
Of the remaining seven total Solar Eclipses to grace the USA in the 21st century, the next two will occur in 2024 and 2044. The first, the total solar eclipse of 2017, was visible from a 70-mile-wide track stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. Within the path, the Sun’s disk was completely blotted out by the Moon for over two minutes, revealing the awe-inspiring solar corona. Our speaker, popularly known as "Mr. Eclipse," will review this spectacular event through photos and video, as well as review the next total eclipse — the only one in the next quarter century — through the USA.
