Local Seafood Cooking Demonstration with Ocean2Table

With Charlie Lambert & Ian Cole Co-Founders of Ocean2Table Come join us for a night of seafood education and tasting! In this class, Ian and Charlie will demonstrate proper seafood cutting techniques followed by some tasty black cod fish tacos. Learn about sustainable fishing, and locally sourced ingredients in this information packed dining experience! Ocean2Table sustainable fish selections will be available for purchase through the New Leaf Seafood counter starting in September. Beer pairing included. About the Instructors: Ocean2Table is a local Community Supported Fishery based out of Santa Cruz that delivers local, sustainable seafood. Founders, Ian Cole and Charlie Lambert are lifelong fisherman who have both worked as fisheries biologist locally here in the Central Coast. They have a wide-range of experience preparing and cooking all of our local bounties from the Monterey Bay. This is a unique opportunity to get the background knowledge of how and where local species are caught as well as some traditional and unique methods on how to prepare them.
